Dignitaries in attendance included New Zealand Minister of Police Mark Mitchell, Dr. Jianhao Zhang, Member of Parliament, Member of Parliament Tama Potaka, CPNZ Chairman Mr. Chris Lawton and Mr. Robert Fowler, CPNZ Hamilton patrol team representatives, and representatives from the Hamilton Police Department.
This patrol car will significantly enhance the safety levels of the Hamilton community, strengthening collaboration with the police to ensure residents can live and work in a safe environment. The patrol car will be equipped with advanced technology, including real-time monitoring systems and emergency call devices, enhancing the community's emergency response capabilities. It will cover key areas of the electorate and respond rapidly to potential security threats.

CPNZ was established in 2002 as a nationwide organization funded by the New Zealand Police and government. Headquartered in Wellington, it is responsible for overseeing and coordinating support for approximately 150 community patrol teams with around 4,500 volunteers across New Zealand, making New Zealand a safe country for everyone and providing a secure tomorrow for communities.
